Wes Okafor, Owner
I started this operation in 2016 after watching too many crews blow fiberglass over unsealed top plates and call it a day. Before that, I spent eight years as a lead installer for a Bay Area weatherization contractor, running blower-door tests on about four hundred homes a year. I hold BPI Building Analyst and Envelope Professional certifications, which mostly means I know how to read a manometer and explain the result without making your eyes glaze over. I live in Redwood City with two dogs who have zero respect for my sleep schedule, and I still climb into attics when we’re short-handed because I don’t trust the thermal camera work to anyone else.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with us since 2019 and runs the crew on our biggest jobs, the ones where we’re pulling out old vermiculite in a Menlo Park Hills home and replacing it with conditioned attic spray foam. He’s OSHA-30 certified and trained in lead-safe renovation practices, which matters more than you’d think in pre-1978 Peninsula housing stock. Marcus is the one who notices when a can light trim doesn’t sit flush after air sealing, and he’ll pull the crew back to fix it before we blow insulation. Off the job, he rebuilds vintage motorcycles and has strong opinions about which East Bay taco trucks are worth the drive.

Dana specializes in our crawl space encapsulation and vapor barrier work, the jobs where you’re lying on your back in 18 inches of clearance, taping seams with a headlamp. She came to us from a water damage restoration company in San Jose, so she knows exactly what happens when a crawl space stays damp: not just energy loss, but structural rot and the kind of mold that makes your home inspector write paragraphs. Dana is certified in moisture control and ventilation by the Crawl Space Encapsulation Association. She grows tomatoes in her Sunnyvale backyard that she won’t shut up about from August through October.
Eli R., Service Coordinator
Eli answers the phones and schedules the work, which sounds straightforward until you try coordinating blower-door tests, material deliveries from our Owens Corning and Johns Manville suppliers, and four crews across nineteen cities without making someone wait three weeks. He’s been with us since 2021 and knows which Menlo Park neighborhoods have the access issues, which HOAs require pre-approval for exterior work, and which inspectors want photos submitted in what format. Eli studied environmental science at San Jose State and will talk your ear off about electrification rebates if you let him. He surfs at Linda Mar when the swell cooperates, which is less often than he’d prefer.
Jin K., Apprentice Installer
Jin joined us in 2024 after completing a construction technology program at Cañada College. He’s our designated attic-cleaning and rodent-proofing specialist, the person who goes up first when a homeowner in Belle Haven reports scratching sounds and droppings in the insulation. Jin handles the removal, the sanitizing, and the exclusion work, sealing entry points with steel mesh before we install new material. He’s working toward his BPI certification and asks more questions than the rest of the crew combined, which we count as a feature, not a bug. He plays competitive Go and claims it’s excellent training for thinking three moves ahead in a cramped attic.
